Superhero Training is a Unity3D and Microsoft Kinect 2 experience where kids trained using several superhero powers like Ironman Blast, Mind Laser, Ultraman, and Streetfighter’s Hadouken. After the initial training, the superhero is tasked in a tower defense style game destroying evil robots.

Leveraging Microsoft’s Kinect 2 full body motion controller, I developed a system where predefined poses and gestures triggered the activation of superpowers. The superpowers took advantage of Unity’s particle system and physics engine to display the result as beams of energy and explosions. After a predetermined time, the number of robots and items destroyed resulted in a numeric score and associated with a superhero name.

A Unity3D and Microsoft Kinect experience where kids were able to choose between 3 characters: Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Giant Monster, and a Giant Robot. The user was able to walk down a predetermined path and destroy buildings as well as several helicopters. The city skyline was loosely based around the Leo Burnett building and used dynamic model fracturing.
